PÖLLIXX

PÖLLIXX is the gothic, vampire rock solo project of rock artist Steven "PÖLLIXX" Volor formally known as the lead guitarist and co-owner of the hard rock band Caster Volor. During the Corona Virus pandemic of 2020, Steven Volor began writing and recording as Caster Volor were unable to perform together. In isolation, this quickly became much more than a simple pass time as he found himself writing so much music. After a few recordings, he decided to create the solo project, PÖLLIXX, named after the twin brother to Castor of the Gemini constellation (Follow Caster Volor to understand the origin). However, it wasn't until he came up with the album title (still to be announced) that the debut record came to life and needed to be finished. After completing the 11 song album, he had composed 3 more singles: "Life Is But A Moment," "I'm Still Standing," (a cover of Elton John's classic 80's hit), and finally "The World Is Not The Same." All of the music was written, performed, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Steven "PÖLLIXX" Volor with Alexsander "Caster" Volor  featured on vocals/lyrics for many of the songs on the upcoming debut album. The first single from PÖLLIXX, titled, "Life Is But A Moment" was released on Friday, November 13th 2020 to all streaming services, and has received radio airplay all around the world. The final single, "The World Is Not The Same" was released on Friday, March 12th, 2021 and the full length album will shortly follow into mid 2022.
